Fire Resistant Latex Paint

CKC-F-268 is a water-based, low-VOC, non-toxic, intumescent fire-resistant paint coating. When the treated surface is exposed to heat the paint expands, ( intumesces, swells) 60 times its dry-film thickness to create a protective barrier against heat.
It is Class A, UL-certified. It comes in white and can be tinted. CKC-F-268 can either be painted over or applied to an existing painted surface, it is odorless and dries to a flat finish
Structures and Surfaces
CKC-268-F is ideal for, but not limited to public buildings, warehouses, hospitals, nursing homes, restaurants, hotels, theaters and military applications. Among other surfaces, it can be applied to sheetrock, wood, fiberboard, cement, polyurea and foam materials.
