If it can be Painted...Hy-Tech can INSULATE IT!
History of Insulating Ceramics for Paint
Since the early 1960s, ceramics have been developed mainly for use in heat-resistant composite materials. Many components of helicopters, military aircraft, civil aircraft, missiles, and spacecraft, including satellites and space shuttles, are made from these high-strength, lightweight composites.
In space technology, ceramic materials and cements are used to make nose cones, the heat-shield tiles on the space shuttle.
They are used in many applications, such as: bricks, glass, pottery, cooking ware, dental and medical applications, and even the catalytic converter in automobiles exhaust system where it removes harmful elements.
They have good properties for high temperature areas, are good thermal insulators, good electrical properties, heat dissipation, long life, strength and hardness, they are non corrosive and relatively lightweight.
These properties, along with their low densities and high melting points, make ceramics attractive structural materials and insulating paints and coatings.
Until recently Insulating ceramics have never been marketed directly to the general public. The application of ceramic coatings required a high level of technical skill and specialized equipment.
Now due to advanced manufacturing techniques Hy-Tech Thermal Solutions is able to make available to the home owner, the same ceramic heat reflecting products used on the facilities of major
corporations and manufacturers, NASA, and the U.S. Government.
